About Laura Clifford
Laura lives and works in Bristol, UK. She is originally from Wales, and still has a strong connection with her home town of Aberystwyth.
Since leaving college, Laura has been a freelance textile designer in the South West.
Laura won the Welsh open art prize with a wall hanging called "Contented Cats". This was subsequently displayed in the Cats Protection League shop in Bristol.
Contemporary window dressings and blinds, shown at the New Designers trade show, Islington.
Quilts, exhibited at Aberystwyth Arts Centre as part of their seasonal contemporary decorations.
Several quilts, displayed at the Festival of Quilts, Birmingham NEC.
Wall hangings of flowers were selected by Bistro 33, Aberystwyth, to be hung in the restaurant.

Working with Children
Laura has experience working with children in primary schools and special needs units.
She has both supervised and run summer workshops involving a wide range of children's arts & crafts.
